As a specialty interior design firm Aegam is always on a constant lookout for unique and interesting artifacts to use our design. Makers market is a heaven for such finds! We also love the energy that surrounds any Maker’s show. It’s in such places you get to see the power of expression; how every artist, artisans and creative groups express their unique perspective. You will find no single piece that resembles another. That’s beauty of art. We witnessed an overflow of creativity at the makers show at Lalit Kala Academy, Chennai conducted by “By Hand, From the Heart“. Here’s everything that caught our eye from the 17th Edition of the show 5th & 6th February 2016:
One of our favorite upcoming brands in the Home decor space “Olie” – by Amrita Nambiar. Her collections are simply exquisite! Check out more about their products from the below links:

Check out their online design shop that hosts a great collection of such works from designers based in Cochin. www.viakerala.com
Here’s something awesome for all the adults out there who love coloring. And the most exciting part is you could pull out and frame them to add to your Home decor! How personalized and super fun would that be! We were so happy to meet Subadra Kalyanaraman(Instagram – @sobadra) the artist with such insane talent and her support supportive husband Balajee G E, a writer who has penned this magical story for “Shankuntala and her Magic Box’. He blogs at TheLocalTeaParty.
